Marina Dockhand I

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marina Dockhand I to join our team at the City of Corpus Christi. As a Marina Dockhand I, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our marina facilities and grounds.

• Perform custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for marina customers and staff.
• Operate various types of equipment, including golf carts, Kubota 4X4, and power washers, to accomplish tasks such as cleaning and maintaining facilities and grounds.
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs to facilities, docks, and piers.
• Assist with boat lift hoisting and provide rigging, blocking, and bracing of vessels on land.
• Act as traffic safety control guide during craning operations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in building and/or grounds maintenance preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification required within six (6) months from date of hire.
• Valid driver's license required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.
