Job Title: Infusion Nurse

At Naven Health, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our home infusion nursing network, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The Infusion Nurse is responsible for coordinating and providing direct infusion care to patients in their homes or alternate treatment sites. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, continuity of care, and adherence to physician orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, provide, and document professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
  • Assess patient needs and physical status through health data assessment and patient interview, and re-evaluate patient needs through physical assessment, response to therapy, and updated physician orders.
  • Provide effective and safe teaching using a patient-centered care approach, modifying teaching modalities to fit patient/family learning style to achieve independence with prescribed therapy and care needs.
  • Practice effective and timely communication with all members of the treatment team, including Naven Health's Clinical team, medical providers, patients, and families/caregivers, to facilitate continuity of care.
  • Complete clinical documentation in real-time during nursing visits, following nursing standards of practice and applying approved abbreviations and documentation practices as per Naven Health policies.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current active and unrestricted registered nurse license.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience working as a RN in an area requiring training and hands-on experience in infusion therapies, or at least 1 year of clinical experience as a RN working in an area noted above, with an IV nursing certification.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • CRNI, IgCN, OCN highly preferred.
