We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Konecky Oil Inc. in Mead, Nebraska.

Job Summary

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine automotive maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and mechanical repairs. You will also be required to conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' vehicle problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine automotive maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and mechanical repairs.
  • Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' vehicle problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair and manufacturer training requirements.
  • Be detail-oriented and keep accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records.
  • Clean and maintain the work environment.

Requirements

  • Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required.
  • Hold a valid driver license.
  • Graduated from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
  • Must be able to maintain accurate records with detail.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • ASE certification a plus.
  • Willingness to participate in in-house training.
  • Ability to operate all auto repair tools.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must.
