Job Overview

Compensation: Competitive salary with excellent benefits.

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
  • No work on Sundays.

Position Summary:

The role involves the fabrication of products through the execution of essential operational tasks on various machinery, including drill presses, vertical mills, belt sanders, pipe benders, saws, lathes, and presses.

Key Responsibilities: The following duties are not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary:

  • Align components in accordance with work orders, routing, schematics, and product knowledge.
  • Conduct drilling, sanding, punching, and cutting operations.
  • Document all labor and downtime, maintaining accurate records related to each work order and routing.
  • Ensure that the fit, function, and aesthetics of parts meet or exceed established standards.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a clean, accident-free, and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members or crew leaders regarding any issues related to safety, quality, production, or inventory.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills are essential.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Language Proficiency:

  • Capability to read, analyze, and interpret the English language.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of hands in conjunction with tool operation.
  • Agility of upper and lower body extremities, with the ability to reach, crouch, kneel, or stoop.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
