Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain printing presses to ensure high-quality output and meet production deadlines.
  • Monitor and control ink, paper, and chemical supplies to optimize print quality and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with prepress and bindery teams to ensure seamless production workflow.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience operating a printing press.
  • Intimate knowledge of the lithographic process and background in prepress and bindery.
  • Strong understanding of printing materials, including chemicals, ink, paper, and plates.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Good natural or corrected eyesight and ability to distinguish between different shades of colors.
