Position Overview:

As an Automotive Service and Tire Consultant, you will gain practical experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by forming valuable connections with customers while delivering exceptional service. The Automotive Service and Tire Consultant is tasked with ensuring an outstanding service experience by building meaningful relationships with both new and returning customers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales and profitability for the store by effectively selling tires and recommended automotive services, clearly communicating benefits and product features.
  • Foster customer relationships and ensure satisfaction by understanding their needs.
  • Communicate all promotions and advertising for products and services.
  • Manage customer interactions from the initial experience through to service completion, including check-in, appointment scheduling, accurate time estimation, and checkout.
  • Participate in promotional merchandising and special events.
  • Clearly communicate all warranties, promotions, and advertisements to customers.
  • Utilize provided tools to make recommendations based on manufacturer guidelines.
  • Assist the Service Manager in conveying information about customer vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work and customer area.
  • Perform various manual tasks for extended periods, which may include lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in Automotive Customer Service.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • No relocation is offered for this position.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in tire sales.
  • Experience in automotive service sales.
Position Criteria:
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated to achieve results with minimal supervision.
  • Diligent worker who demonstrates responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork.
  • Able to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify issues, and make decisions.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines.
  • Our stores may operate 7 days a week, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Commitment to adhering to established safety policies and procedures.
