Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve patient functioning and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, as defined by state laws and in accordance with the plan of care.
  • Lead patients in therapeutic activities to improve functioning and safety.
  • Observe, record, and report patient progress and changes in condition.
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.

Requirements

  • Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state.
  • Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages.
  • Bilingual skills a plus
