Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for:

1) **Patient Positioning and Equipment Adjustment:**
- Accurately position patients and adjust imaging equipment to ensure optimal results.
- Utilize support devices to facilitate effective imaging procedures.

2) **Radiographic Technique Determination:**
- Assess patient anatomy and conditions to select the appropriate imaging techniques.
- Ensure high-quality images are produced for radiologist evaluation.

3) **Patient Interaction and History Collection:**
- Gather relevant patient history to inform the imaging process.
- Document findings for radiologist review.

4) **Operation of Advanced Imaging Equipment:**
- Assist radiologists with advanced imaging procedures, utilizing specialized knowledge and skills.

5) **Safety and Compliance:**
- Adhere to established safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the imaging area.

6) **Quality Control Coordination:**
- Monitor image quality and ensure proper labeling.
- Facilitate patient flow in accordance with departmental procedures.

7) **Instruction and Mentorship:**
- Provide guidance to new technologists and participate in performance assessments.
- Foster a collaborative environment for problem-solving and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

1) **Education:**
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology program.
- Valid IDNS license required.

2) **Experience:**
- 1-3 years of experience in general radiography is preferred.

3) **Certifications:**
- Current ARRT certification and CPR certification are mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

1) Ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care.
2) Capability to lift and move patients as needed, adhering to safety standards.
