Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily cleaning of restrooms, break areas, and locker rooms.
  • Thoroughly complete daily cleaning checklists as per the assigned duties.
  • Maintain and supply designated areas of the facility (including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, loading/unloading dishwashers, restroom sanitation, etc.).
  • Execute heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Exhibit general housekeeping skills and familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Report any deficiencies or repair needs to management.
  • Manage and restock supply rooms.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Engage in special projects and perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to observe safety and security protocols and comply with policies.
  • Capability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clearly; effective oral communication skills.
  • Physical capability to perform manual tasks (standing, bending, twisting, kneeling) and operate standard janitorial equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to schedules and fulfill commitments.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Demonstrated professionalism.
  • Efficient time management skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with cleaning supplies and chemicals.
