At CommQuest Services Inc, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health services to our community. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans in accordance with statutes, regulations, and protocols regulating the profession. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Psychiatric Nursing or DNP from an accredited College or University, a minimum of 2 years of PMHNP prescribing experience, and board certification as a PMHNP in Ohio.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans in accordance with statutes, regulations, and protocols regulating the profession.
  • Provide psychiatric health services, education, counseling, and emotional support.
  • Oversee and monitor psychotropic medications, including medication used as part of the MAT model of care for substance use detox.
  • Order laboratory tests, interpret, and explain the test results to patients.
  • Provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits, and reasonable outcome expectations.
  • Communicate with patients and engage in follow-up as necessary.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Psychiatric Nursing or DNP from an accredited College or University.
  • Minimum of 2 years of PMHNP prescribing experience.
  • Board certification as a PMHNP in Ohio.
  • DEA license with full prescriptive authority.
  • Previous experience working in substance use treatment/detox.
