Chapel Musician

We are seeking a skilled Chapel Musician to provide music for Protestant and Catholic services at Ladgov Corporation. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience playing in a church congregation and be able to effectively play the piano and/or electric organ.

The ideal candidate will also be able to sight read music and play a wide variety of music from traditional church hymns to contemporary church music. Additionally, they will be prepared to provide basic musical instruction to children, youth, and adults.

The responsibilities of the Chapel Musician will include planning and coordinating all vocal music with the Chapel Point of Contact, selecting music appropriate to seasons of the church year, and making recommendations for additions or deletions to the music library. They will also provide accompaniment for at least one Catholic and one Protestant choir rehearsal per week and direct rehearsals, lead the adult choir from the electric organ and/or piano during worship services, and direct children's choir when appropriate.
