Banner Health is seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at Banner University Medical Center. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing lifesaving treatment to patients undergoing dialysis.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatments, ensuring a smooth process and notifying the RN of any abnormalities.
- Ensure the dialysis equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Prepare machines and equipment for use, test and maintain the RO water system, and liaise with technical support for equipment repair.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to treatment information and inventory of dialysis supplies and equipment.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment, including turning over dialysis chairs between patients and cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
- Completion of approved dialysis training program or one year experience in nephrology patient care and current active participation in an ESRD facility.
- Current certification as a Dialysis Technician or ability to obtain in accordance with ESRD regulatory requirements.
- Current BLS certification.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
