Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment and parts.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel vehicles and equipment, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Inspect, test, and repair diesel trucks, as well as perform repairs and modifications to equipment, including in-field and on-road machinery diagnostics and repairs.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all machine systems, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in equipment repair, preferably in the agricultural or heavy equipment industry.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine repair, hydraulic systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and parts, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
