Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Psychiatry Care team at Alamance Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialized care to patients with mental health conditions in collaboration with a psychiatrist(s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical assessments of patients, review medical history, and interpret diagnostic tests/results to provide effective treatment.
  • Conduct preventive health screenings based on patient age, history, and unique needs to provide proactive healthcare.
  • Educate patients and their families about psychiatric medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care to ensure accurate patient history.
  • Perform psychiatric medical procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines and clinical roles.
  • Identify ways to improve psychiatric patient care by assessing, problem-solving, and evaluating clinical and system issues.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Previous psychiatric experience required; 3+ years preferred
  • BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
