Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.

About the Role

This clinical nurse specialist position will be responsible for attending quality and core curriculum classes, actively participating in professional development workshops and peer support groups, and successfully completing all clinical competencies and validation requirements of the Nurse Residency Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend all quality and core curriculum classes and participate in professional development workshops and peer support groups
  • Successfully complete all clinical competencies and validation requirements of the Nurse Residency Program
  • Work under the direct and indirect supervision of the Clinical Education Team while refining nursing knowledge and skills
  • Actively participate in managing clinical situations for which he/she is assigned under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse who oversees all clinical experiences, documentation and procedures in the clinical environment
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina
  • BLS certification
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $65,000 per year, based on national averages for similar positions in the United States. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
