Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist

At Intermountain Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in an outpatient setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and developing effective treatment plans to promote optimal physical function and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on proper exercise techniques, adaptive equipment use, and support programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state Physical Therapist licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of related experience in a clinic setting, preferably in an outpatient setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Work Environment:

This position requires regular attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as carrying, climbing, crawling, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.

Location:

This position is located at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana.
