Cleveland Clinic, a renowned healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join its team at Hillcrest Hospital.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to prepare and operate MRI equipment, position patients correctly, and effectively record diagnostic images. As an MRI Technologist, you will work closely with physicians to capture high-quality images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.

About the Role:

  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including verifying safety forms and administering contrast as necessary.
  • Operate MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintaining up-time for maximum patient accessibility.
  • Position patients correctly, following strict protocols to minimize discomfort and ensure accurate imaging.
  • Record and transmit images via PACS, completing after-hours transmissions and paperwork as required.
  • Assist with scheduling patients and rotating through various imaging modalities and locations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Registration as a Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) within one year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
