This position involves assisting customers in the showroom by efficiently retrieving and loading products while ensuring all transfers are executed accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
- Engage with customers and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist in maintaining the showroom's visual appeal through light cleaning and organization.
- Respond to inquiries and phone calls from the showroom promptly.
Inventory Management:
- Ensure accuracy in product placement and inventory records.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with year-end inventory processes.
- Receive and prepare products for transfers and display setups.
- Manage paperwork related to shipping and inventory efficiently.
Maintenance and Safety:
- Maintain cleanliness in the showroom and surrounding areas.
- Assist with snow removal and upkeep of the showroom entrance.
- Follow safety protocols and participate in training programs to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED, with prior experience in a similar role being advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in basic computer skills, including the use of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
