About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Deltek Costpoint Accountant to join our accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing system integrator focused on public sector programs. Our company offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including healthcare benefits, paid time off, 401k matching, employee referral bonus, education assistance, learning and development resources, and EOE status.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining open payables, scheduling timely payments, preparing A/P vouchers, and auditing and processing employee expense reports. You will also set up new vendors, maintain vendor master files, post payments received from clients to Accounts Receivable (A/R), and contact clients directly to collect aged A/R. Additionally, you will support Controller with the monthly billing cycle and general ledger accounting.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or 4 additional years' experience in lieu of degree. Minimum 2 years of Government contractor accounting experience, including Deltek Costpoint, is required. Detail and deadline-oriented with process-based deliverables, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Good organization skills and excellent time management skills are also necessary. Knowledge of GAAP and CAS is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required.
