Job Summary:

The High Pressure Cleaning Specialist will perform a variety of physically demanding tasks requiring strength, flexibility, and endurance to handle equipment, materials, and emergency response situations. Key responsibilities include operating and setting up cleaning equipment, adhering to safety protocols, working in hazardous environments, and manually maintaining and repairing tank equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up high-pressure pumps, vacuum trucks, and other necessary equipment according to operational guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety policies and practices, including personal protective gear.
  • Work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
  • Manually clean, install, fit, and repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other external and internal tank equipment.
  • Inspect equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and work areas before starting jobs and inform supervisors of any potential issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • TWIC card or ability to obtain one necessary for field work.
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required.
  • Pass hair follicle and urine drug screen.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with basic safety training skills.
  • Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience preferred but not required.
  • General labor experience beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically capable of performing duties and responsibilities assigned.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods if needed.
  • Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, and kneel continuously.

Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
