Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Process cash, credit card, and room charge transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Handle cash and credit payments, making change as needed and verifying the validity of charges
  • Record all financial data required by accounting and control the issue and return of guest checks
  • Post and payout tips as required, creating and settling all checks, comps, and charges
  • Operate a cash register, adding machine/calculator, telephone, and credit card machine to complete guest transactions
  • Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner
Requirements
  • Previous cashiering experience preferred
  • Ability to deal with customers and co-workers in a tactful and respectful manner
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age and flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekend hours
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino, speak and hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and may reach with hands and arms above shoulder level, bend, stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift, and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
