Organization: City of Chesapeake

The City of Chesapeake is seeking motivated volunteers to participate in the Sign Removal Volunteer Program. As a volunteer, your primary responsibility will be to identify and responsibly eliminate unauthorized signage found within public areas.

  • Assist in the removal of signs affixed to poles or other structures
  • Enhance roadway safety by reducing visual distractions
  • Training sessions available both in-person and through digital formats
  • Receive official certification cards, safety gear, and necessary tools
