Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Windsor Healthcare Communities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support activities that promote independence and enhance the overall outcomes of our therapy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients to restore and enhance independent function
  • Communicate with families, physicians, and other health team members to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document services in the medical record to meet regulatory requirements
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or Aides in direct patient care and patient-related activities
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop effective treatment plans and achieve patient goals
  • Provide patient treatments that meet patient needs and utilize current treatment knowledge in accordance with facility clinical procedures
Requirements
  • Current Occupational Therapist State Licensure as required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred
  • Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation is preferred
Working Conditions

The Occupational Therapist will spend approximately 60-80% of time bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching while working with occupational therapy patients. The Occupational Therapist will also spend approximately 60-80% of time walking/standing.

The Occupational Therapist may spend approximately 10-20% of time sitting at a desk or terminal entering data.
