Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Delphinus Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement and logistics process for our contracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement process, including creating and submitting purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) related to procurement and management of material and equipment.
  • Compile and create Bills of Material (BOMs) and Job Material Lists (JMLs) for contracted work.
  • Prepare Purchase Order Requests (PORs) based on Program Manager and task requirements.
  • Monitor material and services procured for each task to ensure on-time delivery within the quoted price.
  • Directs the allocation of materials, supplies and finished products.
  • Expedites delivery of material identified by Program Managers.
  • Ensure PORs have required documentation in compliance with the approved procurement system for defined price thresholds.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the Supply/Logistics field in relation to Navy/Coast Guard procurement environment.
  • Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance.
