- Oversee the day-to-day operations of bag machine production, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Planning to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products.
- Train new team members on bag machine operations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate production updates, address concerns, and foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor and report on key production metrics to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with specific experience in operating and maintaining bag machines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of bag machine operations and maintenance.
- Experience in implementing and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or a similar methodology is a plus.
