About the Role

Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Cleveland, NC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to client employees and visitors to our health center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow.
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, including patient history, physical assessment, and vital signs.
  • Collaborate with physicians to arrange further medical treatment when necessary.
  • Identify equipment needs and report to the lead clinician.
  • Perform occupational and health screening tests, including EKG, audiometry, spirometry, and vision tests.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and quality control procedures.
  • Document all nursing assessments, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Evaluate health education needs and provide necessary training and instruction.
  • Administer medications and medical treatments competently.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and a clean, safe environment.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in follow-up phone calls and visits.
Requirements
  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associates' degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
  • Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required based on contract scope of services.
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or ambulatory care clinic.
  • Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
