Description: Fieldstone at Chester Springs, a state-of-the-art senior living community, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and leadership to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain open communication with healthcare providers regarding resident care and updates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to clinical care.
- Collect and report incidents, and develop/implement improvement plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and team members to maintain resident and team member health and safety.
- Partner with the pharmacy consultant to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
- Oversee infection control practices and ensure safe medication administration.
- Identify ongoing resident needs and services through the evaluation/service plan process.
- Manage the completion of assigned evaluations and updates to resident service plans.
- Communicate with residents' families and responsible parties regarding care changes or health concerns.
Requirements:
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current state license as a Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) or a Professional Registered Nurse (RN) per state regulations.
- CPR and First Aid Certified.
- Experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care industries preferred.
