About the Role

As a Medical Imaging Specialist at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow.
  • Adjust scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform.
  • Perform measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol.
  • Analyze sonographic findings to complete comprehensive exams and provide data to physicians for diagnosis.
  • Initiate additional scanning techniques or administer contrast agents as indicated by the examination and according to established laboratory policy and procedure.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Nursing Program.
  • Registered Echo Cardiographer.
