Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator

Shift: Weekend A Shift: Friday – Sunday 7am-7pm

Compensation: $19.75 per hour with an additional $1.00 Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd Shifts, and $1.50 Shift Differential for Weekend Shifts

Additional Benefits: Full-time employees may qualify for monthly attendance bonuses.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Outlook & Excel, experience in Outbound Dock operations, Production, Warehouse, and General Labor.

A minimum of 6 months of experience in warehouse services is preferred, but we are open to training enthusiastic applicants.

Role Purpose:

Support the coordination of truck, rail, and international shipments. Facilitate communication between shippers and carriers. Aid in problem-solving and order management for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination of export/import shipments.
  • Establish and manage schedules with carriers and tender shipments.
  • Track and trace all shipments effectively.
  • Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) – SAP.
  • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly reports.
  • Gather data to assist in performance trend analysis.
  • Proactively identify issues and communicate them to management.
  • Address and resolve basic billing inquiries as necessary.
  • Compile client invoice packets.
  • Confirm rates with carriers.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
