We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Lake Huron Medical Center. As a member of Prime Healthcare, a Top-15 hospital system in the United States, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Function as the first line interface with customers, ensuring their imaging needs are met.
- Participate in quality control activities and contribute to the improvement of imaging services.
- Process and transmit images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Currently attending an accredited health care educational program for radiologic technology.
- Meet state requirements for exemption from licensing to operate x-ray equipment.
- Completion of first year curriculum requirements.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of clinical experience in the radiology technologist program.
- Proficient computer skills.
