Job Summary

As a Regional Speech Therapist, you will provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes across your designated region. You will conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will also implement and adjust therapy interventions based on patient progress and feedback.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes across your designated region.
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Implement and adjust therapy interventions based on patient progress and feedback.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
  • Ensure all visits and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Schedule patient visits efficiently, grouping appointments within each area to minimize travel time.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Florida.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in speech therapy; home health experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a regional caseload.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel extensively within the designated region.
