We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role in Interventional Radiology. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and procedures, utilizing your technical skills and expertise to provide high-quality care.
Job Summary- Provide radiologic imaging services using specialized equipment, including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology procedures.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless delivery of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering medications as ordered by physicians and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes to physicians.
- Providing education and support to patients and families regarding treatment options and post-procedure care.
- Participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
