Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in Vermont. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with plans and designs of civil engineering projects such as highways, bridges, and other transportation structures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic calculations to analyze and design components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
- Assist team in preparing designs, drawings, specifications, presentations and reports, and gather information to support design decisions.
- Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer/designer
- Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
- Assist the team in providing support services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in engineering with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering.
- With 0-5 years of related work experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or intent to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
