Job Overview

The Learning Experience is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with teachers to design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of our children.
  • Support the implementation of our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool students.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for our children, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates on their child's progress and milestones.
  • Collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Prior experience in childcare or a demonstrated passion for early childhood education is preferred.
  • Meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, safely lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and maintaining mental and physical alertness to perform essential job functions.
