About the Role

To succeed in this role, you should have a certification from an accredited Dental Assisting School and at least two years of experience. You must be able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients into the treatment area and ensure their comfort
  • Discuss the dental care plan with patients and address any concerns they may have
  • Take vital signs and accurately record medical information
  • Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
  • Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records
