The surrounding area offers a variety of charming shops, cafes, and dining options, creating an inviting space for exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nutrition education and training initiatives for the campus population, including interactive sessions, workshops, and personalized counseling.
  • Execute corporate wellness programs tailored to the needs of the community.
  • Collaborate with the dining management team and culinary staff to address the dietary requirements of all patrons.
  • Provide training on nutrition topics, including food allergen awareness, to all staff members.
  • Assist in the development of menus and conduct nutrient analysis to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Work with marketing teams to ensure effective communication of nutrition-related information.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives within Dining Services, partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to monitor and enhance sustainability practices across dining facilities.
  • Engage in hands-on operational activities to serve guests, train staff, audit processes, and uphold excellence in culinary services.
  • Collaborate with various campus departments and organizations to align with university objectives and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Licensed by the relevant State Dietetics Licensing Board where applicable.
  • Proficient in presenting information effectively in both individual and group settings.
  • Experience with specialized diets and food allergies is essential.
  • Strong understanding of current food and catering trends.
  • Familiarity with P&L accountability and experience in contract-managed services is preferred.
  • ServSafe certification is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis software.
