This role necessitates an onsite presence at the TBMNC facility and will involve active participation during the initial phases of multiple production lines.

Key Responsibilities

1. **Manufacturing Operations Expertise:**
- Exhibit hands-on experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Perform tasks related to production activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing workflows.

2. **Analysis of Production Workflows:**
- Investigate and understand the complexities of production workflows within the manufacturing environment.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process enhancement.

3. **KPI Development:**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine relevant KPIs for manufacturing operations.
- Implement systems to measure, track, and report on KPIs effectively.

4. **Documentation Proficiency:**
- Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation regarding production processes, procedures, and KPI metrics.
- Prepare reports, manuals, and other necessary documentation as required.

5. **Software Tool Proficiency:**
- Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, LucidChart, Tableau, and PowerBI to create presentations, analytical reports, process flow diagrams, and other visual aids.
- Demonstrate the ability to extract, analyze, and present data effectively using these software tools.

6. **Data Management:**
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient data ingestion pipelines into PostgreSQL databases.
- Implement data validation, transformation, and normalization processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Monitor data ingestion tasks for performance, reliability, and scalability.

7. **Network Security Coordination:**
- Manage firewall rule requests and implementations to ensure secure data transfer and access.
- Collaborate with network security teams to adhere to security policies and regulations.
- Troubleshoot firewall-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

8. **Collaboration with Production Engineering:**
- Work closely with production engineering teams to understand data requirements and optimize data workflows.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align data processes with system architecture and performance objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and support to enhance the reliability and scalability of production systems.

9. **Infrastructure Collaboration:**
- Partner with infrastructure teams to provision and manage resources necessary for data operations.
- Engage in capacity planning and infrastructure optimization efforts to meet evolving data processing needs.

10. **Onsite Engagement at TBMNC Facility:**
- Maintain regular onsite engagement at the TBMNC facility to collaborate with plant personnel and document operational insights.
- Attend relevant update meetings and work closely with plant managers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of production strategies with IT technologies.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing KPIs for production environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with databases and coding.
- Familiarity with operational technology applications (including SCADA, PLCs, and related technologies).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Prior experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is advantageous.
