Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to students, faculty, and staff at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for the Admissions and Records Office, handling inquiries, and providing information on college policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the front counter area of the Admissions and Records Office, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.
  • Assist students with the admission process, answering questions and providing guidance on college requirements and procedures.
  • Provide information and handle matters within the scope of knowledge and responsibility, troubleshooting critical questions and directing complaints to the appropriate person or office.
  • Maintain departmental files in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and support.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to prioritize duties using sound customer service principles, with a focus on providing exceptional service to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Working knowledge of office practice and procedures, including personal computers and common office software.
