We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in our acute care setting.
Responsibilities- Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
- Self-direct in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
- Maintain all department and hospital records, and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for therapy as given.
- Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
- Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider required.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire.
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving equipment.
