Bakery Position Overview

Yoke's Fresh Markets is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team in the Spokane Area. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other sweet treats according to company recipes and standards.
  • Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers, to ensure efficient and safe production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other bakery team members to ensure smooth production and meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior baking experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
