Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process member purchases in a courteous and efficient manner, including verifying, renewing, and upgrading membership products.
  • Scan merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals.
  • Collect payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from members.
  • Issue receipts or change due to members.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the sales floor and assist with general club housekeeping when necessary.
  • Manage self-checkout and scan and pan lanes, and assist members with operations and technical difficulties.
Requirements:
  • Basic math skills preferred.
  • Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.
Work Environment:

The majority of the time will be spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces, with occasional need to position oneself to examine or scan merchandise. The role may require lifting objects up to 30 pounds, and occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
