Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Bodypoint in WA State.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet our high standards and design specifications. This includes performing routine measurements, inspection, and gaging of incoming and production materials and parts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test products to ensure conformance with Bodypoint's standards and design specifications.
  • Perform routine measurements, inspection, and gaging of incoming and production materials and parts.
  • Report non-conformances and seek assistance with the Quality Manager to analyze data.
  • Conduct in-process checks per part runs on the shop floor according to Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with Lead inspectors and production staff on quality assurance procedures.
  • Record measurement data into Unipoint and Syspro databases.
  • Extrapolate test data and present information via charts or graphs.
  • Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Verify that products meet pre-determined manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Certifications: Certificate in Metrology preferred. American Society of Quality Certification or Certificate in Quality Management Systems preferred.
  • Software Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with UniPoint and specialized equipment software preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Teamwork: Ability to work with others supporting Bodypoint's Values and Principles (Quality, Integrity, Caring). Self-directed: Complete job duties with minimal supervision. Mechanical: Effectively use tools and equipment to perform job duties. Communication: Effectively communicate with peers and managers verbally and in writing. Problem solving: Able to diagnose complex equipment problems and determine solutions and opportunities for improvement.

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pulling/pushing, kneeling, twisting, grasping, and walking.
  • Moderate moving, transporting, and positioning of items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

Work in an indoor facility, manufacturing environment, in WA State, frequently remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, occasionally walking, bending, and lifting items up to 50lbs.

Exposed to minimal noise levels in the work environment, infrequently exposed to hazardous and non-caustic chemicals or solutions, and provided with appropriate PPE for working conditions and environment.
