Key Responsibilities
  • Teach patients and families how to perform peritoneal dialysis safely and effectively.
  • Administer medications, including IV infusions, IM and SQ injections, in a clinical setting.
  • Provide age-specific nursing care to patients and families, using the nursing process to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Implement the nursing process by delivering effective relationship-based nursing care.
  • Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery, ensuring safe practice and positive outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required based on clinical area standards.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
