Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist:

  • Design and execute tailored Physical Therapy care plans for residents and short-term patients.
  • Oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in the implementation of care plans as necessary.
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine the need for Physical Therapy services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to communicate patient progress and address any challenges in achieving therapy goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of therapy services in accordance with regulatory and payer standards.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic rehabilitation environment, including gym equipment and treatment areas, following best practices for infection control.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers regarding the specific care plans and follow-up recommendations.

Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas is mandatory.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
