Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Director, Pharmacometrics, Translational Science to join our team at Eisai. In this role, you will provide scientific leadership to develop and execute impactful pharmacometric strategies in support of key decisions for programs across all phases of drug development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute mechanistic PK/PD models of neurodegenerative diseases, including physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK), quantitative system pharmacology (QSP) models, clinical trial simulations, literature meta-analysis, machine-learning/deep learning, and other state-of-the-art quantitative techniques.
  • Represent Pharmacometrics and effectively communicate pharmacometric input to key management and decision boards.
  • Develop pharmacometrics strategies for Translational Science (in particular using continuous, longitudinal biomarkers) and various big, digital, historical data groups and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and problem scoping and planning.
Requirements:
  • PhD or PharmD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related area with strong background in the application of mathematical and statistical methods and 5+ years of experience.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is from $167,100 to $219,300 per year. Additionally, this position is eligible to participate in the Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan & Eisai Inc. Long Term Incentive Plan. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
