Job Summary

Denver Health is seeking a motivated RN Supervisor to join our Occupational Health & Safety Clinic team. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and leadership to registered nurses and medical assistants, assisting in treating employee exposures and workplace injuries. You will also perform pre-employment exams, assist in orientation and training of new staff, and be responsible for case review and development of COSH staff schedules.

Essential Functions
  • Provides managerial duties to COSH clinical staff, including timecards, annual performance appraisals, and staff schedules.
  • Provides orientation of new hires and assists in their training.
  • Prepares reports as requested for executives and organization.
  • Performs ancillary testing, such as hearing, vision, EKG, and spirometry.
  • Assists in treating employee exposures and workplace injuries.
  • Monitors and continuously updates employee health program.
  • Conducts research on the effects of hazardous work conditions or workplace exposures, gathering data and reporting findings to the employer.
  • Required to draw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Required to collect samples for drug screening.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.
  • Supervisory experience highly desired.
Licenses and Certifications
  • RN-Registered Nurse - DORA - Department of Regulatory Agencies required.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association required.
  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Worker's Compensation and Employee Health.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate successful customer and client relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
