Seasonal Busser

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Seasonal Busser to join our team at the Balboa Bay Resort and Club. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

• Assist food servers with setting up and clearing tables, and providing food and water to guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and reset tables in designated dining areas.
• Handle the flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and provide a clean supply to the dining room.
• Clear dishware and flatware as needed throughout the dinner service.
• Complete pre, running, and post-shift side-work requirements, including stocking areas with supplies.
• Provide expeditious service to each guest, ensuring water glasses are full throughout the meal.
• Follow all standard food handling, sanitation, TIPS, and health department guidelines.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, reporting potential safety issues to management.
• Accurately communicate the daily menu offering and read tickets to deliver food to assigned tables.

• Prior food service and hospitality experience highly desired.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Ability to serve needs of guests through verbal face-to-face interactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to high guest satisfaction.
• Ability to perform basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
