About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our Telecom Underground team at Star Construction, LLC. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of underground telecommunications cabling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform construction tasks, including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
  • Install underground telecommunications cabling
  • Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Complete daily production reports
  • Assist with site restoration efforts
  • Work in various weather conditions
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have authorization to work in the United States
  • Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred
Physical Abilities and Exposures
  • Routinely work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles and heavy machinery, and perform tasks that require arms above shoulder level
  • Occasionally use ladders and keyboards
