We offer a competitive salary for this role, with an estimated annual compensation of $85,000-$110,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Coordinator to join our Renewable Energy team. The successful candidate will work closely with the operations team to ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, and on budget. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience and develop their skills in project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in managing overall project performance, including quality, scope, schedule, cost, communication, resource issues, risks, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide general support in digital file management, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely collection of supporting documents from subcontractors.
  • Ensure timely collection of supporting documents from subcontractors and assist with managing project required construction permits.
  • Update project management software with appropriate status changes and assist with allocating budget, costs to date, forecasts cost to completion, procurement, and materials management.
  • Develop contracts and change orders, manage purchases of project-related materials and equipment, and maintain a full understanding of all contractual obligations for the project and documentation of variances.
  • Ensure that the overall terms and obligations of the prime contract are passed on to the subcontract and manages daily tracking of work completed and decision-making for actions required to meet the project schedule.
  • Directs, guides, and coaches project engineers to ensure activities on site are understood and followed, and travel to project sites to compare progress to schedule, compare actual versus estimated cost, check compliance with plans and specifications, review any problems, and verify the quality of work being performed meets contract specifications and company guidelines.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction.
  • Reneable energy (preferably solar farms) experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
  • Viewpoint experience preferred.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Highly dependable and self-motivated.
