Anesthesia Technician

The Anesthesia Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. As a member of the anesthesia team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, monitoring patient vital signs, and assisting the anesthesiologist or certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) with patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, including ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps
- Monitor patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
- Assist the anesthesiologist or CRNA with patient care, including administering medications and performing procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure seamless patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification as an Anesthesia Technician by the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
